Caitlin Clark has entered her first year in the WNBA and her presence has put the entire league on a new pedestal having more eyes on women’s basketball. Even at an early stage in her professional career, the former Iowa Buckeye has been the subject of headlines, not just about basketball, but also about her fashion choices.

The Indiana Fever are about to host the Connecticut Sun at the Gainstbridge Fieldhouse for their second encounter for the 2024 WNBA season. With the goal of giving her team their first victory of the season, Caitlin Clark certainly knows how to deliver inside the basketball court and as well as outside of it.

Entering the game, Clark chose to wear a white vest to pair with her baggy jeans while also showing her taste in luxury bags. The top overall pick in the WNBA draft came in with an off-white Virginl Alboh bag, worth $1,570.

 

 

Caitlin Clark acknowledges target on the back, vows to get better each game

The popularity of Caitlin Clark has been a blessing to women’s basketball having more eyes on the sport. However, her contemporaries are not ready to give her the reigns easily.

Just after her third game in the WNBA, Clark feels the extra attention given by her opponents.
“In the league, everybody’s all over me, they’re hounding me 94 feet, I’m getting trapped on every ball screen, getting blocked on every stagger screen,” said Clark att the 4:02 mark after her recent game against the Liberty. “So I think it’s just a learning process. And I’m gonna continue to learn. from game to game. But I thought tonight was better.”

In her first three WNBA games, Clark has averaged 17.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.0 steals she also shoots 3.0 three-pointers per game at 32%. However, the glaring stat is committing 7.0 turnovers a night.
In her most recent outing and second encounter with the New York Liberty, Clark was able to log in her season-high of 22 points and eight assists to go along with six rebounds and four three-pointers.
