The King was delighted to receive a new title, “King of the Compost,” at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. He and Queen Camilla visited the RHS No Adults Allowed Garden, where schoolchildren honored their environmental efforts with badges. Charles, amused by his title, exchanged flowers with the children to enter the garden.

Engaging with the youngsters, Charles discussed their garden ideas and encouraged them to try growing vegetables. Despite undergoing cancer treatment, he was in good spirits, joined by a smaller royal party. Camilla, an avid gardener, explored various exhibits, including a stand showcasing replicas of their rescue dogs.

During their visit, the couple admired Plankbridge Shepherds Huts, a business supported by Charles’s Prince’s Trust grant. They mingled with well-wishers, enjoying the warm weather. This engagement marks one of Charles’s first public appearances since his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
