Amidst his ongoing medical treatment, Prince Charles III of England, alongside his wife, embarked on a journey to their retreat in Aberdeen. The royal couple’s private plane landed at Aberdeen Airport on the evening of April 10. According to British media, the flight departed from Northolt Airport in West London and reached Aberdeen on the evening of April 10 local time (early morning on April 11, Hanoi time). They then traveled by car to Birkhall, located approximately 10 km from Balmoral Castle.

This retreat marks the 19th anniversary of their marriage, a tradition they have upheld almost every year since their wedding on April 9, 2005. A spokesperson from the palace confirmed that the royal couple is currently at Birkhall but declined to provide further comments, citing the private nature of their visit. They intend to spend quality time together in this vast and serene estate starting from today.

At 75, the monarch is battling an undisclosed form of cancer, and it remains unclear whether he has completed his treatment or is taking breaks between sessions. Despite his health challenges, Prince Charles III has continued to make public appearances, which hold significant importance for the monarchy. Prolonged absences could fuel speculations about his health and cause concerns among the public.

The Prince’s optimistic outlook on his health is evident, as he hopes to attend events such as the Royal Ascot horse race this summer and host garden parties at Buckingham Palace to honor community heroes and military personnel. Birkhall, a royal estate for over a century, serves as a sanctuary for Prince Charles III’s recovery and has sentimental value, having been chosen as their honeymoon destination with Duchess Camilla.
