Professional wrestler Ronda Rousey made a triumphant return to the WWE after defeating fellow champ Charlotte Flair in the ring and becoming this yearâs Royal Rumble winner.
Rousey, 34, the âBaddest Woman on the Planet,â made her comeback in the Royal Rumble match on Saturday at The Dome at Americaâs Center in St Louis.
The wrestling champion entered the match at Number 28, eliminating a series of opponents before tossing Flair over and taking the gold.
She is planning to face Flair yet again at WrestleMania 38 which is set to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas from April 3-4.

For her return, Rousey dressed in all black for the occasion with the word âBaddestâ written across her chest as she entered the ring.
She had defeated opponents including the Bella Twins, Shotzi and even got a little help from Shayna Baszler.
In the end, the final four were Rousey, Baszler, Flair and Bianca Belair.
The match was the first for Rousey since at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 where her title as the Raw womanâs champion ended when she was defeated.
She ended her reign as champion after being defeated by Flair and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match.
Rousey then left and started a family with her husband Travis Browne, and the couple welcomed a daughter named Laâakea Makalapuaokalanipo in September.

Despite her brief hiatus, Rousey is now returning with WWE for a significant run as she is slated to be a part of the SmackDown brand.
She is also set to perform at WrestleMania 39 in 2023.
There were rumors of her return prior to Saturdayâs match as a WWE official reportedly met with Rousey in California.
Rousey had previously revealed in a 2020 interview with Steve-Oâs podcast Wild Ride that she had left professional wrestling due to âungratefulâ fans as well as a hectic work schedule.
âWhat am I doing it for if Iâm not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of f****** ungrateful fans that donât even appreciate me?â she told Steve-O.
âI love performing. I love the girls. I love being out there ⊠but, at the end of the day, I was just like, âF*** these fans, dude,ââ she said.
âMy family loves me and they appreciate me and I want all my energy to go into them. So that was my decision at the end of the day.â
âItâs like, âHey girls, love what youâre doing. Iâm gonna try and take all my momentum and push you guys as far as I can. Fly little birds, fly! Iâm going fâing home!â And that was basically it.â

In March 2019, Rousey pushed back at the crowd during Monday Night Raw where she addressed getting booed at Staples Center in her hometown of Los Angeles.
âIâm not your dancing monkey, not anymore. Damn your fantasies, damn the man, screw the woo and no more Mrs. Nice B***,â she said.
She later said âf*** âemâ to fans during her a YouTube video when she called wrestling fake.
âI needed to do it in order to learn and get immersed into it and really understand whatâs going on, but itâs just not the lifestyle for me,â she explained.
âRunning out there and having fake fights for fun is just the best thing. ⊠But I was doing basically part-time and I was away from home 200 days out of the year. And when I did get home, I was so sleep-deprived cause you just donât have time to lay down.
âPeople think youâre only wrestling as much as they see you on TV, but they donât realize that thereâs three or four other days of live shows during the week.â
WWE tweeted the announcement of Rouseyâs return on Twitter
She added that she was home only âa day and a half a weekâ during the height of her WWE career.
On Twitter, Rousey responded to angered WWE fans over her âfake fights for funâ comment after the podcast was released.
âWhile you all are tip toeing around bruising some pro wrestlersâ huge soft egos â no on is thinking about all the REAL fighters youâre insulting when pretending pro wrestling is somehow on the same level of realism,â she wrote.
Before her stint in WWE, Rousey was a UFCâs first woman champion and settled at a 12-2-0 record while with the promotion company.
Sheâs also won a bronze medal in judo during the 2008Â Beijing Olympics.
