Conor McGregor goes from BKFC sponsor to BKFC part owner
There was a surprise announcement at Knuckle Mania 4, with Conor McGregor being revealed to be a new part-owner of BKFC.
“We’ve got the biggest announcement in BKFC history,” BKFC head Dave Feldman said, before cutting to a pre-recorded promo video from McGregor.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the huge announcement that I have for you today: Conor McGregor, myself, and McGregor Sports & Entertainment is now an owner of Bareknuckle Fighting Championship,” McGregor said. “Welcome to the big leagues! David Feldman, baby we did it!”

Conor McGregor previously sponsored BKFC events through his beer brand Forged Irish Stout, and based on this announcement, it looks like they’ve taken things further.
What does Conor McGregor’s BKFC ownership mean exactly?
David Feldman made bold, albeit vague promises now that Conor McGregor is a part owner.
“We’ve got the biggest guy in all of combat sports right now as the part owner of our company,” Feldman said during the announcement. “I think it’s going to move the needle tremendously. We’re going to do a lot of big things, we’re going to open up a lot of new markets.”
“We’ve accepted, or entered, in an agreement with a very large combat sports enthusiast, Conor McGregor. He’s now an owner of BKFC with us, and we’re going to take this motherf–g thing all the way to the top now!” Feldman discussed further during the post-fight press conference.
“He’s one of the most popular guys in the entire world,” Feldman said, touting the success of McGregor’s Roadhouse movie. “You’ve got a guy like that, everything he touches turns to gold. I want that midas touch for us, so I brought him over.”
While Feldman was naturally ecstatic about a big superstar joining in to help promote his events, there also leaves a lot of unanswered questions still.
What exactly will Conor McGregor’s role be? Did he buy in, or was he given a percentage of the company to help promote them? How much of the company does the UFC star own? Does he have actual power within the company, or is this more of a PR move similar to the time ONE Championship announced Manny Pacquiao supposedly being a part owner, but with nothing much really coming from it after?
There’s really not much details or specifics about the announcement, but for what it’s worth Feldman claims McGregor is excited and wants to be really involved.
“We’ve had some unbelievable conversations, and some great ideas already exchanging. I was telling my wife, ‘I was dying to have Conor McGregor call me, now he won’t stop calling me.’ It’s unbelievable. He is so excited about this thing, I think it completely takes it to the next level.”
BKFC owner promises ‘signing spree,’ more money after Triller merger
This McGregor announcement comes soon after some far bigger business news for BKFC and its majority owner, Triller.
Triller was recently acquired in a merger with Hong Kong-based finance company AGBA. The board of directors of both agreed to value the new company at $4 billion, although the deal will be an “all-stock transaction.” The merged company will be publicly traded under “AGBA Group Holding.”
Feldman claims that this merger was “huge” and meant “a lot of funding for us,” before promising a “signing spree” within the next three months.
