Princess Kate fans donate £15,000 to fundraising page after Meghan website hacked

Fans of Princess Kate have generously contributed £15,000 to a fundraising initiative following the hijacking of Meghan Markle’s website. The Duchess of Sussex’s newly launched American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand encountered an unexpected redirection, seemingly orchestrated by a supporter of the late Princess of Wales.

The American web link originally intended for fans redirected them to the Duchess of Sussex’s business website. However, the UK domain name was acquired by an individual who redirected it to a food bank’s website, accompanied by a compassionate message expressing solidarity with Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge.

As of the time of reporting, Princess Kate’s admirers have donated £15,351 to the Trussell Trust, an organization dedicated to eradicating the need for food banks in the UK. Visitors clicking on the link “americanrivieraorchard.uk” are directed to a donation page for the UK-based charity, with a poignant message urging contributions and conveying forgiveness and empathy.

Despite the redirection, the webpage emphasizes that the charitable mission is exclusively focused on supporting the Trussell Trust through the acquisition of the domain name and the establishment of a JustGiving page. It also humorously acknowledges the existence of other merchandise sellers.

This display of solidarity and support for the Duchess of Cambridge comes at a time when she disclosed undergoing a preventative chemotherapy regimen starting in March, underscoring the enduring admiration and care for the royal family among supporters.
