Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones, the most notable royal you’ve probably never heard of, is the second child of David, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, and Serena, Countess of Snowdon. She is 26th in line to the throne, bridging the gap between royalty and normal life.
As Princess Margaret’s granddaughter, Lady Margarita has participated in key royal events, including Trooping the Colour and walking to church at Sandringham with Prince William. She was also among the mourners at Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral in 2022.
At 22, Lady Margarita runs her own jewelry brand, Matita, creating handmade pieces inspired by nature. She has always had an interest in fashion, attending the Dior Cruise show at Blenheim Palace at age 14 and sharing stylish items with her mother.
Some of her most memorable fashion moments include:
– Prince Philip Memorial Service (2022): She wore a puff sleeve midi dress by Ulla Johnson and a Rachel Trevor-Morgan headpiece.
– Tatler’s Little Black Book Party (2022): Dressed in Michael Kors Collection crystals and a white faux fur coat, reminiscent of her grandmother Princess Margaret.
– The King’s Coronation: She wore a pink creation by Beatrice Ferrant, complete with a matching headband by Stephen Jones.
– Queen Elizabeth Coffin Procession: She dressed in a Christian Dior jacket and a veiled headpiece by Rachel Trevor Morgan.
– Easter Sunday Church Service (2022): She wore a recycled Etro paisley dress and Mary Jane pumps, shared with her mother.
– Prince Harry’s Wedding (2018): She wore a monochrome dress and bolero jacket with a matching fascinator.
– Tatler’s Little Black Book Party (2023): She sported a paisley print silk co-ord with a quirky Corita Rose clutch and jeweled pumps.
Lady Margarita’s fashion choices reflect her unique blend of royal elegance and contemporary style.
