Elon Musk recently faced backlash from Taylor Swift fans after making disparaging remarks about her potential Super Bowl performance. Musk reportedly said, “I’d rather drink sewer water than see Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl,” sparking outrage on social media.
Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, were quick to defend her, expressing their disapproval of Musk’s comments. Responses included, “He just needs to get in his rocket ship and go away,” and “Extremely disrespectful, who cares what Musk prefers anyway.”
The controversy was further fueled by Musk’s interactions on Twitter. He responded to a tweet praising Swift by Dogecoin founder Billy Markus with, “Her limbic resonance skill is exceptional,” and replied to a tweet from Swift’s official account with a cigarette emoji, which also drew criticism from her fans.
Swifties rallied in support of the singer, with comments like, “You stay away from her,” and “Elon Musk better leave Taylor Swift alone dawg,” showing their discontent with Musk’s remarks.
