The Duchess of Edinburgh looked elegant in a stylish ensemble as she arrived in Golspie, Sutherland, for an official visit with Prince Edward. Sophie, 59, wore a camel blazer, sage wide-leg trousers, a striped t-shirt, and suede heels, while Edward, 60, donned a traditional tartan kilt and tweed blazer.

Earlier, they visited Oakham, Rutland, becoming the first royals to see a new memorial statue of Queen Elizabeth II at the town’s library. Sophie wore a smart cream coat with green trousers and an orange bag, while Edward added a tweed blazer to his look. Despite the inclement weather, the couple engaged warmly with locals and children from primary schools.
