Taylor Swift gave her boyfriend Travis Kelce some advice before he took the stage at Kelce Jam on Saturday. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end told Page Six that the singer advised him to “just go out there and have fun.”

“I’d be silly if I tried to imitate what she does!” the 34-year-old joked before the music festival, presented by Jim Beam. Over 20,000 fans attended the second-annual Kelce Jam at the Azura Amphitheater in Kansas City, Mo., featuring performances by Lil Wayne, Diplo, 2 Chainz, and Kelce himself.

Taking Swift’s advice to heart, Kelce was seen dancing and enjoying himself throughout the event. He brought the Lombardi Trophy on stage, tossed signed footballs into the crowd, chugged drinks, and played DJ with Diplo.

“Through all my years in [Kansas City], life could be no better than right the f—k now,” Kelce told the crowd, praising the community for their “unbelievable” support.

Although Swift couldn’t attend due to her Eras Tour schedule, Kelce’s friends, including Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, showed up to support him. The couple had just spent a romantic week together in Lake Como, staying at a luxurious $21,000-per-night villa and enjoying scenic dinners and boat rides.

Kelce praised the fans’ turnout despite initial nerves about the event’s popularity without the NFL Draft coinciding. “I didn’t know what the outcome was going to be but sure enough everybody showed up and it’s just so much fun just getting out there and giving some high fives and seeing the smiles,” he said.
