In discussing Catherine’s transformation, Jennie remarked, “I guess she seemed somewhat reserved at first. However, William deserves immense credit because he’s never seemed envious of the attention his wife receives. He’s gently guided her into her role and allowed her to shine, consistently demonstrating how immensely proud he is of her.”

King Charles, aged 75, currently undergoing cancer treatment, held a meeting with U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Wednesday afternoon at Buckingham Palace. This face-to-face meeting marked the first since the monarch disclosed his cancer diagnosis.

Despite grappling with cancer, initially detected during treatment for a benign enlarged prostate, King Charles has continued his state duties, albeit mostly behind the scenes. Two weeks ago, the King and Sunak had a phone conversation, more casual than their usual weekly formal audience.

On Wednesday, there was a shift with the release of photos and video footage capturing King Charles’ encounter with Sunak.

Sunak commented on seeing King Charles in good spirits, to which the monarch humorously responded, “It’s all done with mirrors.”

The prime minister expressed solidarity, saying, “We’re all behind you. The country’s behind you.”

King Charles acknowledged the outpouring of support, revealing, “I’ve received numerous heartfelt messages and cards. It’s brought tears to my eyes most of the time.”
