King of England and 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 Admitted to Hospital

The British royal family announced on January 17th that both the Princess of Wales and King Charles III have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. However, the health conditions of both individuals are not considered to be serious.

Buckingham Palace stated that King Charles III will be admitted to the hospital next week for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Despite the non-threatening nature of the King’s condition, he will undergo medical intervention. The palace also mentioned that public engagements of the King will be temporarily postponed for a brief period to allow for recovery.

The announcement from Buckingham Palace regarding the King’s health status is believed to be aimed at encouraging individuals with similar symptoms to seek medical attention. It is currently unclear what method of intervention the King will undergo.

Earlier on the same day, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, underwent planned abdominal surgery on January 16th. The surgery went smoothly, and she will recuperate at West End Hospital in London for up to two weeks.

Additionally, Kensington Palace stated that the Princess of Wales expressed her desire to “maintain as much normality as possible for her children” and does not wish to disclose further personal information. Although the exact reason for Princess Kate’s surgery was not specified by the Royal Family, some British media outlets speculate that it is not a serious illness.
