Clark made her declaration for the 2024 WNBA Draft on February 29th, while Reese opted to finalize her decision after the conclusion of the LSU Tigers’ season. She officially announced her move to the WNBA on April 3rd, following her team’s loss to Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes in the Final 4.
Recognized as an extraordinary talent, Clark is already marked as a prospective addition to the Fever roster. Notably, the WNBA recently revealed that 36 out of Indiana’s 40 games will be broadcasted nationally, with 13 of them featured on NBA TV.

Last year, 21-year-old Angel Reese spearheaded the Tigers to a national championship triumph, prevailing over Clark’s Hawkeyes in the ultimate showdown. Reese’s stellar performance earned her the title of NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, contributing 15 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists to secure a resounding 102-85 victory.
Clark, a two-time AP Player of the Year, exits the NCAA as the all-time leading scorer in Division 1 history. Throughout her tenure with the Hawkeyes, she clinched three scoring titles and topped the NCAA in assists for three consecutive years, showcasing her exceptional talent and versatility on the court.
Caitlin Clark & Angel Reese Will Be WNBA Game-Changers
Clark and Reese have special legacies as two of the most dominant and beloved athletes of their era. If their meetings in college weren’t exciting enough, just wait until the two future WNBA legends compete in the pros.
Their respective all-world skills will make Clark and Reese difference-makers in the WNBA. We obviously don’t know yet where Reese will land in the draft, but the bottom line is that both she and Clark will bring countless compelling storylines to the WNBA this year.
