Angel Reese will make her official WNBA debut this week as the Chicago Sky faces the Dallas Wings on Wednesday, May 15th.
The former LSU Tiger was drafted with the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft last month and has already completed her first WNBA preseason. A quick turnaround for her from college to the pros as her college career ended with an Elite 8 loss roughly 1.5 months ago.
Reese has already had some weird fan interactions in her new city, saying in a recent post, “I was getting back in the car and I was trying to leave but this girl was banging on my window. She was like, ‘act like you from Chicago, open this door.’”

In a brand new post by Reese, she revealed another bizarre fan story and expressed confusion as to why a fan would take a picture of her car and post it on social media.
“i think taking a picture of somebody car & posting it on social media is the weirdest thing ever. having security or not i just wanna know what do you get from that??”
Some fans really need to learn boundaries.
