Caitlin Clark broke the 54-year old NCAA scoring record in her final regular season game
Caitlin Clark played her final regular season game for Iowa last Sunday against Ohio State, and to mark the occasion, she received a special gift. Fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk, created a unique vest jacket for Clark.
Clark made headlines during the game by breaking Pete Maravich’s all-time NCAA scoring record. She needed just 18 points to set a new benchmark and achieved it effortlessly, scoring two baskets from the free-throw line just before halftime.
The game against Ohio State was also senior day for the No. 6 Hawkeyes, and Clark and her teammates celebrated with a 93-83 victory at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Clark’s performance was stellar, with 33 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and three steals, earning her a hero’s reception from the sold-out crowd.
In honor of Clark’s remarkable career and this special moment, Kristin Juszczyk created the vest jacket. Kristin gained fame during the NFL playoffs when Taylor Swift wore a red puffer coat she had made using a Travis Kelce jersey during a Kansas City Chiefs game. Her designs have caught the attention of the NFL, leading to a licensing agreement with Kristin.

Kristin Juszczyk’s creation for Clark is a black vest jacket adorned with several of her No. 22 jerseys collaged together. On the back, Clark’s name and number are showcased in the Hawkeyes’ iconic yellow, alongside some of her notable achievements. These include her status as Iowa’s all-time leader in points, assists, three-pointers, and field goals made.
“I wish I could add all her awards on there, but you would need 700 jackets to fit all that. Which is incredible,” Juszczyk remarked to Yahoo Sports. “It’s a special piece, and I hope she loves it.”
As Clark’s collegiate journey continues, her focus shifts to the upcoming Big Ten tournament, starting next week, followed by March Madness with Selection Sunday on March 17. Despite the uncertainty of the final chapters of her college story, Clark announced her intention to declare for the 2024 WNBA Draft on Thursday. The 22-year-old is widely expected to be selected first overall by the Indiana Fever.
Reflecting on breaking the record, Clark shared with FOX Sports, “When they announced it and then everyone screamed, that’s when I knew. Pretty cool.”
