Morocco continues to attract public figures from a growing A-list of celebrities.
NBA icon Michael Jordan has recently added his name to the roster of A-list celebrities who express their appreciation for cultural diversity and art by visiting Morocco.
This week, the Museum of Confluences Dar El Bacha shared two photos of the basketball legend soaking in the warmth of Marrakech at Dar El Bacha.
“We had the pleasure of welcoming American basketball legend Michael Jordan to the Musee des Confluences who was happy with his visit to the museum and appreciated its collection,” Dar El Bacha wrote on its Instagram page.
Bacha Coffee also joined in sharing a picture featuring the legend, with the staff at the location appearing mesmerized as they posed with Jordan.
Morocco remains a magnet for public figures from an expanding array of celebrities, drawn to the country’s rich diversity and culture.
Last year witnessed a parade of stars gracing iconic Moroccan cities, with Hollywood luminaries such as Liam Hemsworth, Lucy Hale, and Adrian Grenier among those making their mark on the vibrant Moroccan landscape.
Former White House senior officials, including Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, were captivated by Morocco following their visit to the North African country in late 2020.
In July 2022, Ivanka shared a collection of photos from her journey to southern Morocco, one of which depicted her adorned in the Melhfa, the traditional attire worn by Moroccan Sahrawi women.

In addition to government officials and Hollywood stars, many sportsmen and women are also known for choosing to holiday in Morocco.
