LeBron James

The NBA postseason is renowned for its unpredictability, yet Saturday night proved to be an exception as LeBron James found himself in the position of witnessing his team’s defeat in Game 1 against the formidable Denver Nuggets.

Skipp Bayless, a well-known LeBron critic recognized globally for his provocative commentary on the Lakers’ star, wasted no time in responding to the loss. He took to his official social media account on x, sharing a video lasting 1 minute and 49 seconds, wherein he critiqued the actions of the Lakers’ star during the game.

For many LeBron supporters, Skipp’s tirades of criticism may have become the norm after all these years. However, this time ‘the undisputed’ host may have crossed the line with his words. “LeBron James can be such a Diva. I just watched him play the last 9 minutes at Denver and take two shots when the game was completely over,” said Skipp.

He criticized the Lakers star for not being proactive in the final quarter of the game especially when an opportunity to cut the lead presented itself. “How could anybody watch something like that and think this guy was the GOAT? Do you think Kobe (Bryant) would have done that? Do you think (Michael) Jordan would have done that? It was just an embarrassment and it was just so LeBron James.

Skip also directed his criticism towards D’Angelo Russell, whose performance on Saturday night fell short of expectations. As the undisputed host, he drew comparisons between LeBron James and iconic game legends such as Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, lamenting James’ perceived lack of assertiveness at the forefront of the offense. James opted for a more playmaking role in the final quarter, a decision that, according to Skip, may have contributed to the Lakers’ loss as his teammates failed to capitalize on scoring opportunities and faltered under pressure.

Love just not strong enough for the hate to dominated inside him

About this month, when the Lakers faces the Pelicans, LeBron James showcased an outstanding performance, notably achieving a career-high number of assists in the first half of the game. Bayless, recognizing James’s remarkable display, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his admiration for the Lakers’ star player.

Bayless praised the King’s remarkable first-half performance, during which he distributed 13 assists to his teammates, establishing a new personal record. The NBA analyst hailed LeBron as the premier passer in the league and cleverly added a pun to his post, likening James’s passing prowess to a king’s decree.

But now, we don’t know yet if Bayless loves Lebron or not. It is obvious that he just take Lebron out to push views and become well – known.
