Hailey Van Lith finds herself wishing for a chance to redo Monday night’s game in Albany, New York. Tasked with defending Iowa Hawkeyes’ standout Caitlin Clark in a rematch from last year, Van Lith, now playing for LSU after her time with Louisville, faced a challenging Elite 8 match.

Unfortunately for Van Lith, she struggled on both ends of the court, likely longing for her days with the Cardinals. However, her difficulties on the court weren’t the only challenges she faced that night.

Following the game, Van Lith became a trending topic online yet again, as several accounts purported to leak personal photos of her. While the leaked images showcased her beauty, including snapshots of her in various outfits and poses, such exposure was not something Van Lith welcomed, especially after a tough loss.

Among the leaked images is one of the LSU star posing in a long, tight dress in front of a mirror, accentuating her curves. Another photo captures her in a black dress, while yet another shows her in a pink bikini, standing on a boat. Additionally, a video of Van Lith twerking in the locker room was included.

Despite the attention the photos and video garnered, Van Lith is undoubtedly focused on moving past the disappointment of the game and the subsequent privacy breach.

Unidentified career path for Van Lith

Facing significant decisions this week are Hailey Van Lith and Angel Reese, stars of the LSU women’s basketball team. The two seniors have until late Wednesday evening to determine their basketball futures: whether to stay at LSU for a fifth and final year of college hoops or to enter the WNBA Draft and pursue a professional career.

Despite completing four years of NCAA basketball, both players have the option to extend their college eligibility for a fifth season, thanks to rules enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the deadline for entering the WNBA Draft was at the end of March for all college players, those whose teams were still competing in the NCAA Women’s Tournament could delay their decision until 48 hours after their final game.

The Tigers’ season came to an end on Monday night with a loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Elite 8, prompting Van Lith and Reese to weigh their options. Reese is expected to be a top-10 selection in the 2024 WNBA Draft, while Van Lith may be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd rounds.

With the WNBA currently comprising 12 teams and the draft spanning three rounds, a total of 36 players will be selected on April 15th.
