Joy Behar, co-host of “The View,” didn’t hold back on Thursday as she launched a scathing attack on NFL star Travis Kelce, labeling him as “illiterate” and expressing concern about his relationship with pop icon Taylor Swift. Behar’s harsh criticism came during a discussion on the show about Kelce’s old tweets, some dating back to 2010, which were filled with misspellings and questionable comments.

Pointing out some of Kelce’s less charming posts, Behar read aloud one tweet where Kelce commented on the appearance of Clippers girls compared to Lakers girls, and another where he questioned why girls couldn’t hide their back fat. She then remarked, “He’s illiterate.”

Behar didn’t stop there, reciting more tweets where Kelce made insensitive remarks about cheerleaders’ appearances. When asked why she was so concerned, Behar, a self-proclaimed Swiftie who admires the singer’s activism, expressed her worry about Swift being associated with someone like Kelce, stating, “So I don’t want her to be stuck with this idiot.”

While Behar took a critical stance, co-host Whoopi Goldberg offered a different perspective, defending Kelce by suggesting that foolish comments about girls are common among high school boys.
