John Cena is enjoying the sun with his spouse!

Six months after being married, the 43-year-old F9 actor was spotted on a rare outing in Vancouver, Canada, with his wife Shay Shariatzadeh.

As they strolled together, the couple clasped hands tenderly. While his wife donned a matching face mask, bright blue sweater, black leggings, and blue sneakers, Cena wore a black face mask, blue T-shirt, workout shorts, blue socks, and APL sneakers.

According to court records that PEOPLE was able to obtain, Cena and Shariatzadeh wed on October 12 in Tampa, Florida, in a modest ceremony conducted at the downtown office of attorney Dilip Patel, who officiated.

The couple were married while filming Cena’s movie Playing with Fire in Canada, Shariatzadeh’s native country.

When Cena met engineer Shariatzadeh in October, an entertainment source told PEOPLE, “it was love at first sight.”

“He’s a romantic,” the insider claimed, adding that the couple “knew they were getting married, so it wasn’t a surprise the ceremony was private.” All he wanted was to work without the spotlight.”

Shariatzadeh, who was reared in Canada after being born in Iran, “is smart, has her own life and career and thinks for herself,” the source said. She presently works for the enterprise software company Sonatype.

On the red carpet for the Playing with Fire premiere in October 2019, Cena said to Entertainment Tonight, “It’s a wonderful day for a movie premiere and I got a beautiful date.”
