The ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA actors and writers strikes in Los Angeles still appear to have no end in sight. Actors and writers are seeking fair wages for their work, but that still hasn’t been the end result. The initial strikes kicked off in May, starting with the writers. Therefore, actors soon went on to join them.

As a result, many other celebrities in other fields have since publicly supported these protests. These now include Snoop Dogg, who is canceling his upcoming shows in Los Angeles, in support of the strike.

These shows were initially supposed to take place on October 20-21. Furthermore, Snoop released a statement on Instagram, regarding his decision to support these cancellations.

“We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing strike and the uncertainty of when this will be over, we need to cancel the Hollywood Bowl show. We continue to stand in solidarity with all of our brothers and sisters in the WGA and SAG/AFTRA during this difficult time and remain hopeful that the AMPTP will come back to the negotiating table with a REAL proposal and we can all get back to work.”
