Caleb Williams has been familiarising himself with his new surroundings in recent weeks.
The former USC Trojans quarterback was the talk of the NFL last month after being selected No. 1 overall by the Chicago Bears in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Williams will be the face of the Bears’ franchise
Williams has been keen to support his local sports teams after moving to Chi-Town and was recently in attendance for the Chicago Sky‘s preseason WNBA clash against the New York Liberty.
The quarterback was at the game alongside fellow Bears teammates Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, and was photographed pulling out his new signature move.
Ever since draft night, Williams has been raising one hand and making a Bear claw gesture in honor of his new team.
The 22-year-old has adopted the sign as his own move and the celebration may be something Bears fans see a lot more of next season.
The Baylor Bears have been doing the claw for decades but the Chicago Bears are yet to fully embrace it.
That may all be about to change with Williams running their offense and throwing touchdown pass after touchdown pass.
Odunze, who was drafted No. 9 overall by the Bears in the recent draft, was also spotted doing it while teammate Allen apparently needs some convincing.

The trio were in attendance for the Sky’s second preseason game to catch a glimpse of their new star, Angel Reese.
The former LSU standout – who cried after losing in this year’s NCAA Tournament – was the No. 7 pick in the recent WNBA Draft and was facing off against some of the league’s best players on Tuesday night including Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.

Reese finished with 13 points and five rebounds in a 101-53 blowout win.
Chicago has two absolute superstars on their hands in Reese and Williams who are set to dominate their respective sports for the next 10-15 years.
Reese was hyped when the Bears selected Williams on draft night and it turns out the pair already have an existing friendship.
“Yeah, me and Caleb are cool,” Reese said after they were both drafted to the same city.
“One of my good friends are best friends with [Caleb] that are in my friend group. So we’re all from the DMV area.
“Just being able to have another DMV tie, another amazing player … so we lit right now. We turning the city up right now,” she added.
“[Caleb and I] talked after he got drafted. I don’t know when he’s gonna be here, but we’re all gonna hang out.
“My friend is coming down, and we’re all gonna hang out, cause we’re cool. So I’m excited.”
