“OutKick Analyst Refuses to Bow to Intimidation: Standing Firm Against Death Threat from LSU Fan Over Caitlin Clark Opinion”
As faithful followers of OutKick are well aware, I recently found myself at the receiving end of a deeply disturbing and unsettling death threat from a fan of LSU. What triggered such a violent reaction, you might ask? Simply my expression of a viewpoint regarding Caitlin Clark that evidently didn’t sit well with this individual. I made a comparison, asserting that Caitlin Clark represented a superior role model when compared to members of Kim Mulkey’s team. Now, reasonable minds can differ on such matters, and healthy debate is a cornerstone of any vibrant community. However, what ensued was far from healthy or reasonable.
The threatening message I received was not only shocking but also deeply troubling. To receive such a response for simply sharing an opinion is not only unwarranted but also unacceptable. Yet, in the face of this intimidation tactic, I refuse to be cowed.
This incident quickly escalated into national news, capturing attention not only across the United States but also from concerned individuals around the world. The outpouring of support has been both humbling and heartening, reaffirming my belief in the importance of standing up against such acts of intimidation and violence.
Many have reached out, expressing concern for my safety and asking about potential courses of action, including involving law enforcement and enhancing security measures. While I appreciate these expressions of concern, my response remains steadfast: I will not be intimidated, and I will not back down.
In a recent video addressing this situation, I made it unequivocally clear that I will not allow fear to dictate my actions or stifle my voice. This is America, after all, where the right to free speech is fundamental, and I refuse to yield to those who seek to silence me through threats and intimidation.
Moreover, I stand by my original assertion regarding Caitlin Clark’s status as a role model. Despite the attempts to discredit or intimidate me, the evidence remains clear: there are significant differences between the conduct of Caitlin Clark and certain members of Kim Mulkey’s team, as demonstrated by a litany of incidents.
So, to those who seek to silence me through threats and intimidation, I have a simple message: you will not succeed. I will continue to speak out, to express my opinions, and to stand up for what I believe in. If you agree, or if you simply wish to offer your support, please feel free to reach out
