On Wednesday night, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever fell to 0-5 on the 2024 WNBA season after a devastating loss to the Seattle Storm. The game came down to the final possession, but the Fever couldn’t pull it off, losing 85-83.

Despite the loss, Clark continued her strong play in her young rookie season. She tallied 21 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks. Clark also was able to limit her turnovers, recording only three, which is a season-low for her.
After the game, Clark sat down for a postgame press conference and addressed the Fever’s winless record to start the season.

“At this point, being 0-5, if you just get upset by it, I don’t think that’s going to be too beneficial for us,” Clark said, “You gotta find a way to continue to be positive and continue to feel motivated.”
Clark continued, “You’re never happy to lose. It’s not fun, but at the same time, I think there’s a lot of things to build on. That’s why I’m trying to be as positive as possible.”

A video of Clark’s full response was posted on social media by Holly Rowe.
“Caitlin Clark on staying the course and remaining positive after another close loss.”
