The ex-Iowa standout encountered some challenges in her initial games, prompting head coach Christie Sides to address them with a straightforward guideline.

“I gave her a rule the other day. She’s got 0.5 seconds to make a decision… She has a habit of hanging out and dancing. That’s what she’s done. It’s those habits that we’ve got to break,” Sides said after the Fever’s second regular-season game.

Clark has slowly improved since her 10-turnover WNBA debut against the Connecticut Sun. On Saturday, she scored a career-high 22 points in a loss to the New York Liberty.
