ESPN has adopted a firm position against Patrick Beverley, the guard for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Beverley’s behavior on Thursday night was far from admirable, displaying petulance both on the court and during locker room interviews with reporters after the Bucks’ defeat by the Indiana Pacers. Beverley declined to speak with ESPN producer Malinda Adams, citing her lack of subscription to his podcast as the reason. He explicitly stated she was not permitted to interview him and later requested her to remove her microphone from his vicinity.

 

Adding to the incident, he then demanded her departure.
“Can you move that mic and get out of the circle for me please, mam? If you’re not subscribed to my pod? Thank you, I appreciate that,” he said.
