Who is Lucy Olsen? Catch up on the new point guard for Iowa women’s basketball.

Iowa women’s basketball fans will soon grow accustomed to a new face on the team.

That’s Lucy Olsen, the now-former Villanova point guard who joins the Hawkeyes’ 2024-25 roster. She announced her commitment to Iowa on April 17, a “tremendous transfer-portal get for Iowa.”
She was the third-leading scorer in the nation last season as a junior. ESPN ranks the point guard as the No. 5 overall prospect in the transfer portal.
